September 2025
The month began with 90th birthday celebrations with another wonderful cake from the cooks at Red House. The residents enjoyed listening to the harp being played and there was the first Quiz night raising money for the residents activities.
August 2025
So much has happened in August!
The games finished with a winner who is very happy with the result! Produce is being picked by the residents who have grown them. A trip to Felixstowe, which despite the weather, was enjoyed by all. Especially the hardy resident who had a paddle in the North Sea! Another group enjoyed an outing on the River Stour, sporting some lovely hats. The birds of prey were a great hit with the residents.
July 2025
Another birthday to celebrate, what a lovely cake! The arts and crafts are in full swing and Wimbledon has begun, so out with the strawberry and cream cakes....and Pimm's for the Men's final!
June 2025
The fruits of the hard work of the residents . They provided some of the herbs and lettuce for their meals. A meal out in the local pub.
May 2025
A game of "What is in the box" tested some of the residents as they were not allowed to look but only feel the items. Then there were some special guests, Finn and Artie, who were pampered by everyone. The beginning of the VE day celebrations was watched on the television. The month ended with a Strawberry Tea in the garden for families and friends.
April 2025
Activities at Red House continue. This month the residents were treated to hand bell recitals with some joining in the fun. Chair sports is always a favourite and this time it was football and balloon air hockey. as usual the Coffee morning was well attended and the cakes were fabulous!
March 2025
The warm weather of March is a treat and many of the residents took the opportunity to sit out in the garden and enjoy the sunshine. Pancake tossing was good fun and members of the Sudbury Arts Centre came to reminisce with some of the residents. There was also a chance to reminisce about their lives.
February 2025
February may be cold but there is still fun to be had in the warmth of Red House. A Valentines music and movement session was a great success as was the pottery painting. Glamorous nails after the manicure. Friends continue to go out into Sudbury and music is very popular.

The new year began with good wishes to everyone , new year resolutions and a keep fit class!
