The Red House Residential Care Home is a non-profit making residential care home for the elderly, delivering the highest standards of care in a happy friendly and homely environment, in which the dignity, privacy and independence of residents is respected and preserved. All residents receive individual care plans based on their own personal needs and requirements.
Conveniently positioned in the centre of the attractive market town of Sudbury, the magnificent Georgian listed building sits proudly within an acre of beautiful and well-maintained gardens, which are surrounded by an enchanting curved red brick wall. The Red House offers a secluded and truly idyllic setting for our residents to enjoy.
Our beautiful home dates back to the 16th Century, and is one of the finest houses in Sudbury. It has an incredibly rich and interesting history that we enjoy sharing with our residents and visitors. More about the history of our building can be found here.
At the moment we have vacancies for respite care, longer stays and permanent residency at The Red House.
