As from 17th May residents are now able nominate up to 5 named visitors. To reduce the risk of infection they should have no more than 2 visitors at a time or over the course of one day and all visits inside the home will continue be supported by testing and wearing PPE.
We understand how important it is to stay in contact with family and friends and we are still welcoming visits in our external visiting room.We also have ipads that can be used to video call so you can keep in touch.
Residents continue to be able to visit their family’s garden or take walks in parks or public gardens & will not have to isolate when they return. Residents should be accompanied by either a member of care staff or their named visitors and continue to follow the government guidelines of washing hands regularly, keeping social distance and remaining outside.
We are still running daily activities to ensure that resident’s hobbies and interests are supported and we are taking measures to ensure that we do this safely.
Our visiting room is fully functional with a substantial screen dividing the two parts as recommended by legislation.
